Classic Car Restoration 1961 MGA

From the owner:

I bought my first car aged 18 a 1961 MGA Fixed Head Coupe from Richard Armes Car Forecourt in Hucclecote, Gloucester in 1973 (just at the same time as the 1973 Oil Crisis).
Although she was already twelve years old, I drove her until 1981, when she was too rusty to pass the MOT.
She remained in my garage or in a barn, but in the dry , for 36 years. As children and work kept me fully occupied, waiting one day for restoration.
Eventually that day came around January 2017 when Jan was recommended to me and the journey began , with parts being sourced from far and wide, even from America. What started off as a rebuild quickly became a complete off the body restoration with every nut and bolt replaced after shot-blasting.
